I have always dreamed of harvesting a big, mature bull on public land and my dreams were bound to come true when I received a call from a great friend Brett Jensen that we had drawn a trophy bull tag in Idaho. We put a ton of preparation and time into getting ready for this hunt. We had drawn three tags and had high hopes in getting three big bulls. The opening day for Idaho landed on the same day as our general hunt in Wyoming so we opted to go after Idaho bulls first.        

We spent a few days glassing bulls and trying to decide which bulls we were going to target first. After finding a big herd with some nice bulls, one pushing the 350 class, we decided he was our number one pick. On the morning of the 15th we headed into the area we had seen the big guy and were unable to locate the bull at first, we did find a nice mature 6-point that my best friend Colton decided he would take. Colton placed a perfect shot on the bull and one of three was down.
