Bull tags in the state of Nevada are a big deal for a lot of the hunters that wait years to draw. In Nevada, as a resident, you have to wait seven years to apply once you draw so a lot of people go 20 years between tags. I decided to get serious about planning what bull hunt I wanted, as I had seven points, so I was bound to draw any year. 

There was one particular unit that I had heard people talk about that doesn’t get a ton of attention but produces some really good bulls. I knew I wanted to hunt during the rut and I had heard that the bulls tend to rut super-hard during the muzzleloader hunt.
