My hunt started in January, when I teamed up with Scott Thompson to put in for Wyoming. Having built up points but not knowing where to hunt, and with Scott’s knowledge we decided to put in together as a group.

When the draw results came out we had drawn. As we came up with a plan, we decided to buy archery tags and use the time archery hunting to help familiarize me with the area, and then we would plan on hunting the first week and see what happened, if we were unsuccessful we would return for the last week, and hope for snow.
