I mentioned in previous boot reviews that I’ve really gravitated towards ultralight hikers over the last few years.  “A pound on your feet is like 10 on your back” is what the old backpackers used to say and I’m a firm believer in this adage. With this being said, it is important to keep in mind that depending on your body structure, there is such a thing as too light when it comes to boots/footwear, too.
