Arizona ranks third behind Wyoming (1st) and New Mexico (2nd) for total numbers of B&C pronghorns. But, in terms of B&C bucks bagged per tags sold, Arizona is light years ahead of Wyoming and New Mexico. The counties you’ll want to focus your hunts on are Coconino and Yavapai. These two counties hold a disproportionate amount of trophy bucks for both Pope and Young and Boone and Crockett. Arizona also holds 6 of the top 10 spots for largest pronghorn all-time in B&C, making it worth the steep draw odds.
