After years of reading hunting books and magazines, I've found little information in them about one of the most important elements of spot and stalk hunting. Planning your route. Volumes have been written about the effectiveness of spot and stalk, where and how to glass, but the information gets scarce regarding what to do when you have spotted an animal that you want to close the gap on.
