Western Wildfire Updates

This year has been hot and dry. Many parts of the country are in a drought. This, combined with hot weather, has made for an explosive fire season. Fuels dried out fast, making them more susceptible to fire at an earlier date. The dry conditions are not expected to improve, and we could be looking at fires persisting into September and even October in some area. I’ve highlighted some of the major fire activity in a few western states.
