We’ve all been there, needing to start a fire, but not having the proper materials to do so. Sometimes it’s a lack of conducive tinder, wet matches, a weathered lighter; the reasons are vast but the result is the same, a failed attempt to make fire. Whether in a survival situation or not, possessing the ability to easily spark a flame and coax it into a controlled conflagration is a skill that all hunters should master and having the right materials goes a long way to being successful when it comes time to build a fire.
