EBJ 105: Younger Generation

My friends thought I was nuts to take a six-year-old on a spot-and-stalk archery pronghorn hunt. I had to explain that while, yes, getting an animal was important to me, it was much more important to spend time with my son. We started out in early evening, grabbed dinner on the way out of town and drove towards the public land in my unit that bordered agricultural fields. The next morning we would ask permission to hunt if needed.
