ISSUE 105

EBJ 105: Anchor Point

September is in the rear-view mirror now, leaving fall as a not so distant memory. Autumn certainly had some ups and downs for us this year. I, like most, couldn’t seem to ever get enough time in the field with my bow in hand, but do we ever? An early season sheep hunt in Canada started the fall off for me, but then some very unseasonably cold weather brought a serious string of blizzards to the high country here in Wyoming that put the elk and the rut into a very strange and peculiar cycle of start and stop activity that was nearly impossible to decode, for this bowhunter at least.
